Hello, and welcome to my website. My name is Ben Revell and I live in North Lincolnshire, England, United Kingdom. I've always been interested in nature and photography, so since retiring in 2006 I've combined these two interests.
The site is primarily for showing the fauna of the United Kingdom. The equipment I use is a Canon EOS40D and a Sigma 150mm f/2.8 EX DG APO HSM Macro and a Sigma EF 530 DG SUPER flash gun with a difuser fitted for fill-in light, when necessary.
Insects are not the only things I photograph. As I said, I've always been fascinated by nature and I'm in the process of constructing another site featuring all the birds of the United Kingdom.
